How to Refer a Child to Milestone Meadows
We welcome referrals from:
- primary schools
- local authorities
- SEND teams
- educational psychologists
- families (discussion before formal referral)
Referral Criteria:
We support children who:
- have complex SEND or additional needs
- are struggling to access mainstream school
- present with SEMH challenges
- have emerging or diagnosed SEND
- require a nurturing, structured environment
Our Referral Process:
- Initial Enquiry – contact us for a discussion about the child’s needs
- Referral Form Submitted – school/LA completes and returns the form
- Review of Information – SEN reports, behaviour records, EHCP (if applicable)
- Child Visit or Observation – where appropriate
- Placement Decision
- Start Date & Transition Plan
